Report Label Misuse
Have you seen the Friend of the Earth logo or a certification claim that you believe may be incorrect? Let us know.
You can report concerns about labels on products, packaging, websites, advertisements or services.
Before you report
If an FOE ID is available, check the certification directory for the relevant product or service.
If you cannot find the relevant record, or the information does not match what you have seen, please include this in your report. A missing search result alone does not confirm misuse.
What you can report
- A logo or certification claim that appears to relate to an uncertified product or service.
- A claim that appears to cover more products or activities than the certificate includes.
- Continued use of the label where certification appears to have expired or been withdrawn.
- An altered logo, incorrect ID or other potentially misleading use.
You do not need to establish that misuse has occurred before reporting a concern.
Submit a report
Please provide as much relevant information as possible:
- Company or brand name.
- Product or service concerned.
- Where you saw the label or claim, including a website link or shop location.
- FOE ID, if visible.
- A brief description of your concern.
- Photographs or screenshots, if available.

The information you provide will be treated confidentially. Submitting a report does not itself establish that misuse has occurred.
