What happens after certification?
Friend of the Earth’s certification schemes aim to increase customer awareness of the environmental impact and sustainability of their food purchasing choices. It is a means of communicating to customers that the product is sourced from sustainable farming or agricultural methods that focus on issues related to the sustainable use of our resources.
After obtaining the certification, Friend of the Earth supports the certified companies through communication and marketing activities aimed at enhancing the sustainability of the brands associated with the Friend of the Earth logo.
