“Beyond the Claim” 2025: The Fourth Edition of WSO’s Sustainable Fashion Show in Milan

The World Sustainability Organization returns to centre stage during the days of Milan Fashion Week with a collective runway show featuring 13 carefully selected brands, ready to unveil their new Spring/Summer 2026 collections.

The event will take place on Thursday, 25 September at 5 pm at the Istituto dei Ciechi in Milan, a symbolic venue that will host this important occasion dedicated to sustainable fashion.

The show is held under the banner of the Friend of the Earth certification, an international programme that sets rigorous sustainability standards for the fashion industry. This certification ensures transparency and accountability across the entire supply chain, promoting environmentally responsible practices. Through Friend of the Earth, the WSO is committed to guiding the industry towards a more conscious future, collaborating with brands that share values of sustainability and innovation.

Here are the seven brands completing the line-up of thirteen labels featured in the WSO event:

LBF

Founded in 2010 by mother-and-daughter duo Léia and Brunna Moraes, LBF is a Brazilian brand combining contemporary design, traditional craftsmanship and a strong social and environmental commitment. Specialising in high-quality gold-plated jewellery, LBF champions women’s empowerment through accessible entrepreneurship and the promotion of local artisanal techniques, such as Renaissance lace from Cariri. Sustainability lies at the heart of its work: using recycled metals, monitoring every stage of galvanic plating, and ensuring full traceability of materials. Their collection “Fios do Futuro” (Threads of the Future), unveiled in Milan, bridges past and future, telling stories of women and territories through an innovative and responsible approach. With repair programmes and recyclable packaging, LBF exemplifies how fashion can be a vehicle for both social and environmental change, blending elegance, sustainability and inclusivity.

Las Gringas

Las Gringas Beachwear, with its SS26 collection “Amazônia”, stands out for its deeply conscious approach to sustainable fashion, rooted in respect and celebration of nature. Inspired by the Amazon rainforest, the collection reflects an authentic bond between the human body and the environment, featuring fluid, lightweight pieces crafted exclusively from certified fabrics and low-impact processes. Beyond sustainable materials, Las Gringas donates 1% of its profits to protecting the Amazon rainforest and the indigenous communities who safeguard it, turning every purchase into a concrete act of environmental preservation. With a colour palette ranging from vibrant greens to warm sun tones and delicate tropical florals, the collection tells a story of regeneration and responsibility, making fashion an act of love and respect for the planet.

Zoe Klose

Zoe Klose is a Swiss brand born from the idea of transforming textile waste into high-quality sportswear and casual clothing, merging innovation, design and sustainability. Officially founded in 2023 by Zoe—a designer with a deep passion for nature and a background in economics—the company repurposes discarded materials such as ghost fishing nets, old carpets and unwanted garments to create unisex collections that reduce environmental impact and help keep the oceans clean. Each piece carries a story of regeneration and respect for the environment, embodying a circular economy model that values recovery and creative transformation. Zoe Klose is a shining example of how fashion can be both innovative and responsible, delivering quality products that respect both the planet and people.

Shirvanna

Shirvanna, a Cypriot brand founded in 2020 by Mert Özyürekliler, is recognised for its ethical and sustainable fashion philosophy, rejecting mass production and embracing the creative reuse of textile waste and discarded fabrics. The 2025 collection is inspired by the lives of shepherds from the Mesarya plains, translating tradition, care, and community into genderless ethno-streetwear made from recovered materials, including sheep and goat wool from old duvets, vintage fabrics, and production scraps. Shirvanna not only minimises waste but also preserves cultural memory and local craftsmanship, weaving a dialogue between past and present into every detail. The brand embodies a slow fashion model that promotes environmental and social sustainability, offering unique, functional garments filled with meaning.

Ilkan.ko

Founded in 2025 by Cypriot designer Ilkan Koral and based in Madrid, ILKAN.KO combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design and a strong commitment to sustainability. Its sophisticated, unisex aesthetic is built on handmade techniques such as macramé, embroidery and other textile crafts, executed with sustainable and certified materials. The “GIRMIZI” collection, presented in 2025, reflects a desire to tell personal and cultural stories through garments that merge heritage and innovation, promoting a slow fashion approach that values quality, durability and respect for the environment. ILKAN.KO represents a new generation of conscious fashion, celebrating the link between tradition and modernity, offering pieces that are both self-expression and ethical commitment.

Esmée-e

Esmée-e is a British brand specialising in resort and leisurewear, distinguished by its exclusive use of ancestral Egyptian cotton grown organically and ethically on certified farms. Founded by Esmée, a designer with international experience and a strong sustainability ethos, the maison creates lightweight, comfortable, timeless garments designed to last while respecting the environment. This season’s collection draws inspiration from Mediterranean life and nature, incorporating natural dyes, low-impact prints and artisanal embroidery, in a harmonious dialogue between elegance and environmental responsibility. More than a fashion label, Esmée is a project that promotes traceability, transparency and sustainability education, helping shape a new generation of conscious consumers.

House of Narma

Founded in London in 2023 by Nouf Al Rashed, House of Narma intertwines storytelling, cultural memory and sustainability through fashion that celebrates craftsmanship and regional heritage. The 2025 collection explores the symbolism of the Agal, a traditional wool circle worn by Bedouins, transforming it into a structural and versatile design element that combines strength and beauty. Using GOTS-certified fabrics, deadstock materials and ethical artisanal processes, House of Narma embraces a slow fashion model that values quality, durability and inclusivity, offering garments for both women and men seeking cultural connection and meaning in fashion. The brand positions itself as a bridge between tradition and modernity, inviting reflection on sustainability as an act of respect and celebration of diversity.
