Lindaren AG Accelerates Its Sustainability Commitment with Friend of the Earth Initiatives

The World Sustainability Organization Applauds the Swiss Company’s Growing Environmental Leadership

The World Sustainability Organization (WSO) is thrilled to announce that Lindaren AG, a Swiss leader in natural supplements, has achieved the prestigious Friend of the Earth Smart Working certification and has joined the WSO Plastic Offset initiative. These new milestones build on the company’s existing Friend of the Sea certification, awarded in 2020 for its Omega 3 product range.

A Continuous Commitment to a Greener Future

At the core of Lindaren AG’s mission is a deep love for nature and human well-being, reflected in their holistic approach to sustainability. The company has made history as the first in the world to earn the groundbreaking Friend of the Earth Smart Working certification – a pioneering achievement that shows how efficiency in the workplace can go hand in hand with protecting the environment. This certification ensures that non-production employees work remotely for at least 80% of the working days each month, resulting in a significant reduction of CO2 emissions and commuting.

In addition, Lindaren AG has committed to offsetting its environmental footprint by supporting the WSO Plastic Offset initiative. The company is actively involved in projects that help remove plastic waste from the environment, addressing one of the world’s most urgent environmental challenges. Furthermore, Lindaren embraces sustainable practices such as recycling, reducing single-use plastics, and fostering awareness about the importance of sustainability.

A Vision that Inspires

Lindaren AG’s journey is a shining example of how businesses can continually evolve towards sustainability,” says Paolo Bray, Director of the World Sustainability Organization. “What started with the certification of their Omega 3 products has expanded into groundbreaking work practices and a proactive approach to reducing plastic waste.

Lindaren AG’s sustainability strategy is built on close partnerships with leading industry experts and responsible suppliers, always striving to adopt ecological practices and forward-thinking actions. The company meticulously selects raw materials from sustainable farming, ensuring the highest levels of purity and quality, while continually innovating to optimise production processes.

Lindaren is setting a remarkable example of how businesses can progressively integrate new dimensions of sustainability into their operations,” Bray adds. “The company’s commitment is not only enhancing the health of individuals but is also creating a meaningful, lasting impact on our planet.
