The European \u201cGreen Deal\u201d is thus extremely relevant to Albania, aiming at new growth with a focus on environmental and social sustainability.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"wso-news-single-content-container\"><b>The Agriculture Days 2023 trade fair, which will be held from 27 to 29 April in Lushnj\u00eb<\/b>, in the heart of Albanian agriculture, will host conferences, workshops, and round tables related to the theme of agriculture and sustainability. &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"wso-news-single-content-container\">The session \u201cSustainability Agenda for Agriculture and Food\u201d will be held on the 27<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;of April, following the opening ceremony by Frida Krifca, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. Paolo Bray, Founder and Director of the World Sustainability Organization (WSO), will talk at 2 PM on the importance of sustainable agriculture, fisheries, and tourism to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"wso-news-single-content-container\">\u201cWSO\u2019s presence at the major agriculture trade fair in Albania, confirms the importance of the partnership between Italy and Albania, recently ratified in the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Albanian and Italian Ministers of Agriculture.\u201d Comments Bray. &nbsp;\u201cAlbanian agriculture and seafood products have already applied for and obtained the Friend of the Earth and Friend of the Sea sustainability certifications. We look forward to meet new companies from the Balkans area at WSO\u2019s stand nr 24 at the Trade fair to enter together the path to sustainable production and certification.\u201d &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"wso-news-single-content-container\"><b>Additional Information<\/b> &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"wso-news-single-content-container\">The&nbsp;<b>World Sustainability Organization<\/b>&nbsp;was founded to promote sustainability as a solution to preserve the planet\u2019s resources, restore critical habitats, and protect endangered species. The International Organization, whose headquarter is located in Milan, Italy, is in charge of the Friend of the Sea and Friend of the Earth sustainability certification programmes.
