Tra le aziende italiane che sono riuscite a conciliare in maniera fruttuosa la tradizione e la capacit\u00e0 di cogliere il cambiamento, Riso Gallo<\/b><\/a> rappresenta un’eccellenza.<\/p>\n

Ed \u00e8 stato cos\u00ec che un’azienda risiera nata 160 anni fa a Genova \u00e8 oggi tra le pi\u00f9 sensibili alle tematiche di sostenibilit\u00e0 sociale e ambientale<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Alla sua attenzione per le rinnovate esigenze di consumo si \u00e8 appena aggiunto un nuovo, importante tassello, con il lancio del suo primo riso da agricoltura sostenibile certificato da Friend of the Earth<\/a><\/b>, lo Standard internazionale di Certificazione dell\u2019Agricoltura e dell\u2019Allevamento Sostenibili, secondo lo schema che l’organizzazione ha sviluppato sulla base delle linee guida Safa (Sustainability Assessment of Food and Agricolture systems<\/i>) dettate dalla FAO.<\/p>\n

\u201cQuella di un brand cos\u00ec prestigioso e conosciuto quale \u00e8 Riso Gallo \u00e8 una certificazione per noi importantissima – ha commentato Paolo Bray<\/b>, fondatore e direttore di Friend of The Earth, nel corso dell’evento di lancio – che ci auguriamo sia la prima di una lunga serie<\/b> che coinvolger\u00e0 molti altri prodotti dell\u2019Azienda\u201d.<\/p>\n

La certificazione riguarda, in particolare, due prodotti: il riso rustico da agricoltura sostenibile per risotti<\/b>, con i suoi chicchi grandi e corposi per preparazioni tradizionali dal gusto ricco, e il riso rustico per contorni e insalate<\/b>, dai chicchi lunghi e affusolati per insalate rustiche e contorni salutari.<\/p>\n

Si tratta del primo brand in assoluto<\/b> ad essersi impegnato nella realizzazione di un prodotto di questa tipologia per la Grande Distribuzione Organizzata.<\/p>\n

Gi\u00e0 da oggi, quindi, sulle confezioni dei due prodotti Riso Gallo \u00e8 presente il logo Friend of the Earth<\/b>, il quale testimonia come la loro coltivazione sia stata effettuata nella tutela e nel rispetto dell’ambiente, dei diritti dei lavoratori, del territorio e delle persone.<\/p>\n

Scendendo pi\u00f9 nei dettagli, le due tipologie di riso rustico in questione sono al 100 per cento italiani e tracciati in tutta la loro filiera, dalla coltivazione – a km 0 in Lomellina, nei pressi della sede dell’azienda – all’inscatolamento.<\/p>\n

La lavorazione viene effettuata con una pilatura tradizionale a pietra che, grazie ad un\u2019abrasione gentile del chicco, permette il mantenimento parziale del suo rivestimento conferendogli un colore leggermente ambrato e preservandone le qualit\u00e0 organolettiche e nutrizionali. In questo modo le referenze conservano un contenuto maggiore di fibre, utili all\u2019organismo, che contribuiscono, a loro volta, a migliorare anche il sapore del prodotto.

\nL’altro aspetto di fondamentale importanza nell’iter che ha portato alla certificazione \u00e8 stato la verifica delle modalit\u00e0 con cui Riso Gallo collabora con le aziende agricole<\/b> che garantiscono il pieno rispetto dei diritti dei lavoratori, con un vantaggio non indifferente per gli agricoltori, poich\u00e9 Riso Gallo garantisce prezzi equi e stabili concordati gi\u00e0 prima della semina.<\/p>\n
