La certificazione Friend of the Earth richiede ai produttori l’impegno nella lotta integrata, una gestione efficiente dell’energia e dei rifiuti, responsabilit\u00e0 sociale ed un adeguato sistema di tracciabilit\u00e0 dei prodotti.<\/p>\n

Friend of the Earth<\/strong>
\nFriend of the Earth \u00e8 un progetto non-profit per la certificazione dei prodotti da agricoltura e allevamento sostenibili. In seguito alla positiva esperienza del programma di certificazione Friend of the Sea per la pesca e l\u2019acquacoltura sostenibili , Friend of the Earth sta rapidamente diventando marchio leader a livello internazionale per la certificazione agricola sostenibile.
\nI requisiti per la certificazione Friend of the Earth si basano sulle linee guida SAFA della FAO per l’agricoltura e l\u2019allevamento sostenibili. I siti produttivi certificati non possono svilupparsi su habitat critici e i produttori devono avere implementato un sistema di gestione sociale e ambientale, essere conformi alle leggi ambientali nazionali, mantenere gli ecosistemi esistenti e ridurre l\u2019impatto del loro operato a un livello sostenibile.
