Tutte le 30 specie viventi sono volatili e in genere tendono a una vita monogama. La regione subsahariana africana ospita sette di queste specie, il Sud-est Asiatico sei, il Sud America quattro, e Asia Occidentale e Centrale tre.<\/p><p>Tra tutte le specie:<\/p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle; margin-left: 50px;\"><li>10\u202f% sono in <strong>pericolo critico<\/strong>,<\/li><li>10\u202f% in <strong>pericolo<\/strong>,<\/li><li>3,3\u202f%<strong> vulnerabili<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p>L&#8217;<strong>ibis di S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9\u00a0<\/strong>\u00e8 classificato come in \u201cpericolo critico\u201d in Africa subsahariana e Asia Occidentale-Centrale, mentre l\u2019<strong>ibis spallebianche <\/strong>e l\u2019<strong>ibis gigante<\/strong> lo sono in Sud e Sud-est Asia. L\u2019<strong>ibis giamaicano<\/strong> \u00e8 gi\u00e0 estinto.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"has_eae_slider elementor-column
